 Teachers and Students of Our School Visited Chinese Culture University


        From April 10 to 14, a team of 18 teachers and students from the Department of Labor Relations of our school was invited to exchange and visit at Chinese Culture University in Taiwan.

       During the exchange, the teachers and students of our school and the Department of Labor Relations of the Chinese Culture University jointly organized the 2018 Cross-Strait Academic Forum on Labor and Human Resources. Professor Peng Baichong, dean of the Department of Labor Relations, welcomed the arrival of our teachers and students. Professor Wang Guohua reviewed the historical evolution of the exchange learning between the two universities and looked forward to further cooperation in the future. Prof. Bai Jingwen made a special lecture on the topic of The Skills and Practices of Departure Interview. He explained in detail eight aspects like the purpose of the departure interview, the analysis of reasons for leaving the company, and the roles played by the interviewer. Student representatives of the two universities delivered lectures and heated discussions on issues such as job well-being, wage hours, career choices, the impact of corporate culture on employee belongings, the rise of new industries, and labor relations in the context of the Internet economy. After the forum, teachers and students of our school also visited the Library of the Department of Labor Relations of Chinese Culture University.

During the visit, the teachers and students of our school also went to the Institute for Labor Research of National Chengchi University to exchange ideas and discuss the history of the labor institute, teaching resources, labor relations and social safety.

The exchange learning activities for young students from the labor disciplines jointly initiated by Chinese Culture University in Taiwan and our school formally began in 2011 to assist young students from the cross-strait labor field to better learn across regions and enhance the learning of young people to understand the cross-strait labor system, environment and development status to promote labor disciplines to cultivate talents in the new era.
